Tariq Mansour
Of counsel · White-collar cases
Tariq is of counsel and takes the firm’s white-collar cases. He is usually the first call when an investigator has contacted someone and no charge has been filed.
Tariq spent most of his career on fraud and theft cases, first for the state and then for people accused of them. He is calm about paperwork and wary of summaries: he reads the underlying record himself.
He meets clients early, often before any charge, and builds a timeline of who did what and when. Many of his clients find that the story the documents tell is more complicated than the one in the letter.

How Tariq builds a timeline
Tariq makes a timeline of the documents and sends it to the client for corrections before anything is filed. A client usually spots the errors in a timeline faster than anyone else.
